This week we celebrate Independence day.   For the next few days, we will offer a few words from those who helped bring this country into being.  

We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of  government, far from it.  We've staked the future of all our political institutions upon our  capacity…to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.

Reflection
Our founding fathers expressed unity through their faith. 
If our congresspersons were to touch into their faith rather than into greed and power,
 we could move ahead with the democracy that was founded to glorify God.  crsr
