This week we celebrate Independence day.   For the next few days, we will offer a few words from those who helped bring this country into being.

For my own part, I sincerely esteem it [the Constitution] a system which, without the  finger of God, never could have been suggested and agreed upon by such a diversity of interests.   --Alexander Hamilton, 1787, after the Constitutional Convention

Reflection
Alexander Hamilton surely had enough experience to make this statement.
He and Thomas Jefferson were opposed to one another on many issues. crsr
