FOLLOW ME!
The disciple is dragged out of his relative security into a life of absolute insecurity--that is, in truth, into the absolute security and safety of the fellowship of Jesus  The Cost of Discipleship

Jesus' call takes us away from the ordinary and plunges us into the realm of the extraordinary.  It takes us away from our certainties and securities and takes us into the realm of uncertainty.  At least so it seems, because our worldly values are so pervasive that they define what is ordinary.  But it is also possible that living according to the words of Jesus is the most normal way to live, even though our society does not think so. We will only make this surprising discovery when we are simply doing what Jesus asks us.

 Meditation
The apparent difficulty in living out the words of Jesus is dissolved in the act of obedience.

Reflection
Another way to say this is to accept our human condition
and accept the risen life that we are offered
because of the incarnation, life, death and Resurrection of Jesus
our Savior and our brother. crsr
